Agraria Bitter Orange Potpourri

First tossed in sheets in the back room of the Agraria shop on Nob Hill in 1970, it's best described by The New York Times as "uplifting, mysterious and androgynous in its appeal." The special blend of roses from Bulgaria, rose hips from Chile, French lavender, rosemary from Morocco and cloves from Madagascar is carefully tossed with the original Bitter Orange oil formulation. They still hand-pack each box and decorate the top with orange slices, cinnamon sticks, and dried dianthus. Over four and a half decades later, it is still referred to as "Park Avenue Potpourri."
